Drag & drop editing
If a list has an order, you can drag it. Nothing needs a save button — the new order is written straight away.
Reordering a list
- 1Hover a row: a grab handle appears on its left edge.
- 2Drag the row up or down; the target row highlights.
- 3Drop it. The order saves immediately and you hear the confirmation ping.
Drag support is available on:
- Custom console pages (Settings → Pages)
- Library documents, links and resources
- Console ranks
- Departments, divisions and teams
- Announcements
- Quotas
Editor mode on custom pages
Custom pages are built from blocks. Open the page, switch on editor mode, then drag blocks around the canvas, add new ones from the block picker, and switch editor mode off when you are done. Viewers only ever see the finished layout.
No handle showing?
Reordering needs the power for that area — manage console pages, manage library, manage roles, manage organisation, manage announcements or manage performance. Lists also lock while a search or filter is active, since the visible order would not be the real one.
